Bhojpuri Super Star Ravi Kishan in Abba Ji Ka Kuan

Famous filmaker Shyam Benegal has repeated Bhojpuri Super Star Ravi Kishan in his yet another film Abba Ji Ka Kuan after RaviKishan enlivened the small character of a compunder, Ram Kumar, in the film Welcome to Sajjanpur with his acting.

Other stars of the film Abba Ji Ka Kuan are Boman Irani, Manisha Lamba, Sameer Dattani, Ravi Jhankal and Divya Dutta.

The film is based on a true story presented as a novel called Narsaiya Ki Bibi.RaviKishan refused to divulge anything about his role in the film, but sources say that his role is of a government employee.

After proving his mantle in Bhojpuri Cinema RaviKishan has become one of the busy stars of Hindi Cinema too. He is in a pivotal role in film Luck along with Sanjay Dutta, Mithun Chakravarty,Imran Khan, Shruti Hasan ( daughter of Kamal Hasan and Sarika). Ravi is also in an important role in ManiRatnams Ravan as the younger brother of Abhishek Bachchan.About a dozen Hindi Films starring Ravi Kishan are in various stages of production at present.

But even all these Hindi Films RaviKishan has not left Bhojpuri Cinema contrary to the rumour being spread by his detractors. In the near future every month a new Bhojpuri film of Ravi Kishan is going to be released. His upcoming Bhojpuri films are Tu Hi Mor Balma, Bihari Mafia, Sajna Sajai Da Mang, Bhumiputra, Khatailal-Mithailal, Rangbaaz Daroga, Chandu ki Chameli etc.
