Recently a music album of Binaca Geetmala fame radio announcer Amin Sayani was launched at a function organised to honour him. Ex-Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Vilas Rao Deshmuh, said while launching the album, We all are familiar with the voice of Amin Sayani and still remember his famous radio programme broadcast from Radio Srilanka. This programme was very popular in India. He was happy to launch the album of that very radio programme.

Amin Sayani explained that the album is in five parts and covers popul0ar songs of the period between 1930 and 1950 and has memorable interviews of Sunil Dutta, Kishor Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Nutan, Meena Kumari, and Super Star Amitabh Bachchan.

Part of the album was played in the function. The album has been released by famous Music Company Sa Re Ga Ma. Everyone expects this album to be a super hit as about 60000 letters used to arrive every week during the programme.
