Famous TV actor Arun Govil, who played the role of Ram in milestone TV serial Ramayan, has decided to quit acting and start producing serials fo small screen. And the first TV serial he has produced is making records on Doordarshan.

Happy Home, first TV serial produced by Arun Govil along with his co producer Sunil Lahari, has proved to be the most popular comedy serial on Doordarshan. It is being said in the trade circle that Happy Home has got better TRP as compared with other comedy serials.

Happy Home is telecast every Friday at 9 PM, the prime time slot, on Doordarshan. This serial has been directed by Rajesh Gupta. Happy Home has its members from various regional and linguistic identities. It has a positive aura about itself and provides a big relief from sas-bahu type serials. Main actors/actresses of this erial include Rakesh Pandey, Mustaq Khan, Rajendra Mehra, Vijay Kashayp, Aruna Sahagal, Parool, Himali, Madhav Moge, Gita Shankar, Sushil Chabra and Shauka Senani. Makers of Bhole Shankar asked to pay up or....

In a bullying way influential people related with film distribution in Bihar Jharkhand have asked the makers of Bhole Shankar - first Bhojpuri film of Mithun Chakravarty - to pay up Rs. ten lakhs as facilitation money, or rangdaari as it is commonly understood, or the film will not be allowed to be released in Bihar-Jharkhand territory. What a shame ? A Bhojpuri film is being denied entry into Bihar!

This has been divulged in an article written by the director of film Bhole Shankar in Anjoria.com

Mithun Chakravarty and Dr.Sunil, a big and influential distributor of films in Bihar-jharkhand territory, had a tiff over some financial dealings and the issue is simmering since long. It came to a boiling point last year but was cooled for some time. Now with the forthcoming release of Mithun Chakravarty debut in Bhojpuri Cinema Film Bhole Shankar the issue has again resurfaced, as it appears.

Unfortunately the politicians of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are busy in everything but anything related with Bhojpuri.
