Ravi Tripathi
Music has always been his passion in life so much so that he even decided to forgo his admission in a reputed medical college. He had been singing for All India Radio, Lucknow when destiny brought him to Mumbai and subsequently to his childhood idol, Suresh Wadekar ji who took him under his tutelage at Ajivasan and under whom Ravi learnt music for close to 10 years. His first break into the industry came when he auditioned for Indian Idol 2 and was among the top 7 finalists. From there his career took off and he started singing for the very popular T.V. serials Ramayan (NDTV), Shirdi Sai Baba and Durga (Star Plus), and Samandar (Zee TV). He has anchored a musical reality show #039;Close up Performer#039; on the national DD1. One of his most satisfying and memorable moments was when he sung the Mumbai Anthem on Maharashtra Day which was released by R.R Patil (the then Dy CM of Maharastra). Another great event that he considers himself honoured to be associated with was when he sung for a project by WHO with Alka Yagnik, the lyrics of which were provided by Javed Akhtar and music by Mayuresh.

He has performed in live shows all over India and abroad. He is especially popular in China and South-East Asian countries.
His debut into Hindi films was with the song 'India se aaya tera dost' from the film #039;Chandni Chowk to China#039; in which he sang the chinese portion.
